#IGBoston_WWIM11

Sunday, March 22, 2015, in conjunction with the @Instagram Worldwide Meetup #WWIM11, IGBoston hosted an Instagram Ideas Forum and Photo Walk, hastagged #IGBoston_WWIM11. The event was held at District Hall, Boston’s home for innovation, in the Seaport District.

The Instameet consisted of an “Ideas Forum” featuring round table discussions of various Instagram topics and strategies, as well as live demonstrations of photo editing techniques by some of the area’s top Instagrammers.

We also had a fun icebreaker Instagram challenge hashtagged #igboston_buddy, which was about having people, who just met the event, take photos of each other.

Then we hit the streets of Boston’s Seaport and Financial District, chatting and snapping away as we looked for unique photo ops.

We rounded off the night being hosted by one of our partners in downtown Boston, The Sip Wine and Bar (@SipWineBarBoston) for drinks & refreshments.

The event was attended by almost 200 members of the community! Good times!
